I was a bit disappointed. Been wanting to go for a while and everyone kept warning me to ‘brace myself’ because it’s tough; but I didn’t even break a sweat. It certainly does not feel like 210 stairs, I blinked and it was done.
I can imagine the view being spectacular but unfortunately you don’t get a full view, as much as I had anticipated
However it’s INCREDIBLY safe, good parking and beats a day inside

Really peaceful place to train for hiking or running, with lots of people, young and old training. I had excellent leg workout and finished off with jelly legs ????.

A good place to exercise especially for leg day. Nice historical background. Lovely, natural and beautiful place.

Its a beautiful part of Johannesburg, old house of historic interest, beautiful tree lined streets, great views. It is quite physically bemanding so it has become a bit of a destination for fitness. Early morning and late afternoon get busy. When you get to the top of the stairs at The Ridge School turn right and down the road you will find another beautiful flight of stair.

I loved it. The whole experience. Great for exercising with family. Child friendly and dog friendly too. Beautiful views

A great place to perform, a complete cardio workout in a safe neighborhood with great views. It tends to get busy with lot's of people jogging especially on weekend mornings. There's necessarily no parking but the street parking is quite safe.

This is probably my favorite place in the world. It’s a long way up, but definitely worth the walk or run. You meet other people along the way, you won’t feel alone.

This area also has one of the most beautiful houses in Johannesburg, you will love taking a walk around the neighborhood and catching a sight of some of the oldest building in JHB. You meet a lot of friends faces along the way so you’ll be fine!
