I'm struggling to rate this place where I stayed for a week on a work trip. If you're visiting for afternoon tea, a conference, to do some craft, or a secluded night away with your partner, it would probably be fantastic.
For business trips it's just not my kind of place. There's no communal area or bar so if you're there in the evening you're almost confined to your room.
The room was slightly on the small side and with stone floors was quite cold. I couldn't leave the aircon on warm as it was very noisy, and further added to the lack of sleep due to the motorbikes racing along the main road not far from the window. Mornings were therefore chilly until you'd turned the heater on and it had kicked in.
The breakfasts were lovely and staff generally friendly, although I didn't see another guest for 3 days solid. It was therefore a bit boring sitting on your own in the small restaurant. They can do evening meals, but only if booked by lunchtime.
So, probably 4⭐ for a quick personal trip, and 2⭐ for a longer business trip.
