Beautiful and well kept 18 hole course. Easy to walk (don't need cart). Not too much water. Bunkers could do with some maintenance as they sometimes have hard surfaces. Greens are nice and soft and well maintained. Roughs has just been shortened given that you prone to lose balls in those roughs.

Marshals ensure that the course runs smoothly. Halfway house staff very friendly and efficient in preparing fresh food. Pro shop is well stocked with nice merchandise.

I visit RCC for a weekly networking meeting. The meeting room / banquet hall used to be grand back in the day, but honestly it looks like they haven’t maintained it since the 90s.

Breakfast can be described as mediocre at best- often late and frequently not enough for all the attendees. At R150/head I’d expect more than raw scrambled eggs, cold toast and instant coffee sachets.

There’s tonnes of value from the meeting, but I cannot think of anything positive to say about the facilities. If they charged R30/head, it would be fair, but there’s just no value for money.

I have been tempted to join this club before, but definitely have to reconsider, this is by far the slowest course in Joburg. Never a Marshal in site, how can you as a golf course allow 5h30 for a round. I have a few friends that refuse to play Ruimsig purely because it's always over 5 hours a round.

What a great experience on the golf course. I found the rough challenging, however the rest of the day was pretty smooth. Greens was difficult yet highly enjoyable.

Such a great experience today. Great staff, was assisted by Minie and Nozipho.
Just visited for the day from Dubai for the Jessica festival, love the South African hospitality.

Great and entertaining course. Although difficult (72 bunkers), you will enjoy each hole and will vow to come back again for even more.
