I was there on Wednesday and this place is so lovely. They had a quiz night yesterday and nice to see all those regulars spending their evening playing quiz over some good drinks and food. Fridays are even better they say. The people are wonderful for I had a great time. Will definitely go there on a Friday sometime.

Steak and chips, basket meals, and lots of other pub favourites to choose from. The staff are friendly, the service quick, and good music in the background. Thoroughly enjoyable meal with friends.

Was so dissapointed with the ribs. R145 for a shocking small amount of meat and much of that was burnt. Have geen going there for many years. Not the same quality of food that I have been enjoying. Hoping the standards will improve.

Your place used to be so nice. It had such great food and even better service. What the hell happened chaps. We paid almost 100 rand for a very small basket of chicken strips ment for 2. It was tiny. The crumbing all fell off the chicken ot was very poorly made . The portion was tiny which isnt like your kitchen on a bad day. You allowed a drunk hawker into the place that bothered us tremendously. Your price increases have made you more expensive than hogs head or green and gold which offer far more in terms of selection and portion size. and the quality isnt close. Very dissapointed as i have been a patron for many many many years. Sadly my wife and i will not be returning. Service was still good though i give credit where it is due.

Busy pub/restaurant, food hearty and tasty. Had the saucy burger ???? really finger licking good. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. Very central and ample parking

The food was good-prices in line with what you would expect-sizes of food portions could always be bigger but quality was there. Only hassle was the time-took forever, service was friendly but took ages to even get drinks, let alone food.
