I booked my sister a spa experience yesterday and her feedback was disappointing. The spa didn't have slippers, in this cold weather, on a concrete floor. Secondly, her picnic lunch was not prepared "due to the weather", and she was taken to the restaurant and left there forever without being attended to, only to be told later that she was supposed to have joined the buffet but couldn't anymore because it was now full. All I wanted was for her to enjoy her birthday but it wasn't to be.

The reception staff were very helpful, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and safe. The place as a whole is beautiful and tranquil, we enjoyed the game drive and seeing all the animals.

The issue was the room we stayed in. The aircon was dusty with brown water stains on it. The shower and bath taps we filthy. The cupboard had dust and you can see that the place had not been cleaned in the longest time. In the evening we used the bed throw to block the draft that was coming in from under the door at night. We left in the morning came back in the evening and the throw was still on the floor, the taps were still dirty. The only made the bed and that’s about it.

Clearly the place has poor management for guests to be experiencing such. Maybe you should put in the same effort you use to advertise to manage the place.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge! Environment is very peaceful, food was amazing and the staff was exceptional. Definitely coming back! Allois, Sarah and the team were amazing. :D

Lack of a good chef overrule the stay.
Portions where cut on half to meet the ( all inclusive poli y ) chefs don't know the diference between well done and rare.Food takes for ever to be prepared.
The venue is amazing

Absolutely Terrible! Spooky Paranormal Activity in my room for all 3 nights. Terrible food. Not the 4 star it’s meant to be. Also still waiting for my refund which I have not been contacted about. Poor poor guest service! Never again!

Booked for 2 nights, only stayed for 1. Restaurant service was appalling. One menu circulated for all the guests in the restaurant. Paid for picnic at the dam and was not advised on the state of the roads going to the dam prior to the payment. Picnic was booked for 2 o’ clock, food arrived an hour and a half later and not for all of us. No sense of urgency. That’s when we decided to pack our bags and leave. Overall lack of professionalism. Only commendable thing about our stay was the breakfast chef. Its a pity that a place so rich in history is being disgraced by poor management. Would not recommend anyone to waste their money here.

This is a mini Misty Hill Country Hotel. We had an opportunity to spot some wildlife. The rooms are massive. We had one with an inside and outside shower.
There's plenty more to do! Site-seeing. Remember this was Oom Kruger's private residence. Oh for swimmers, you'll be sorted here.

It is just on the road leading to Sun City... a mere 30 minutes drive.
