Gatz Guesthouse

I am sorry but the Gatz Guesthouse is not on standard. There was no soap in the bathrooms and only one set of towels for a double room (with 3 beds). For two nights we complained about the air-conditioner that did not work. The last morning there was no water to flush the toilet neither was there water to shower.
The beds were not made up after the first night sleep. The so called 'free breakfast' consists of ice could egg and a piece of fish.
The Receptionist could not issue a tax receipt.
we sleep in many guesthouses all over the country but Gatz could get the cup for the worst.

What a peaceful beautiful place????????????The rooms are very nice and clean. The stuff is very friendly and always around to help with every little thing. We had our 10th wedding anniversary at the place.. Sis Thato made our day so special ???? The decor was on point and the food was so tasty.She even went an extra mile 'we got more that we expected. Been here two weeks after working for 10 hours get here and room has not been cleaned. after 19:00 query where is my dinner and breakfeast pack for tomorrow not made due to some oversight. stongly suggest you look ekswhere for accomodation.

Very lovely stay! Amazing room, bed, and bathroom - beautifully done. Service was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely orchard u0026 gardens.
A few suggestions - our room had just one bedside lamp with no lampshade, and not plugged ib. Need two, plugged in, with plugs next to bed for charging phones. Also need a kettle in room, bigger towels, and foam bath.
Breakfast was average, no toaster u0026 a small selection. Would be great to have someone cooking eggs there at the bar with an electric pan, so you can choose how your eggs are done. Also, filter coffee would be great. Also suggest a name change - maybe something to do with the orchard.

Over all a lovely stay though, very peaceful and relaxing!

Acceptable. Pictures on web page make it look much better than what it is. Grounds and pool need a bit of TLC. Bricks loose or missing around the pool. Very little natural light in family rooms. Staff very friendly and Somewhat made up for any disappointment upon arrival. Somewhat mixed feelings, had to pay 50% to book, had that not been the case I may have looked for another place.

Place is a dump. Stay away . Place is dirty, safety is a concern as there is no control, tents were pitched on the property on the day when we arrived and we were not informed about the over crowding. We did not stay and booked in next door. There was no attempt made to refund our deposit.

Stayed at this guest house for almost a week,this place is not like it looks on the pictures the rooms are dirty they don't change the towels,we had problem with hot water and they promised us free WiFi but they turn it off at night and turn it on again during the day or total turn it off the whole day that sucks other than that the rest was okay the stuff was friendly and helpful they washed our cars everyday in the morning they pool was chill and the area around it was just good to relax and have some cold one's and their security is really great
