Fantastic, family owned restaurant, with the best sushi in Joburg (and the only sushi place that understands making sushi spicy). They have become takeaway only, but their Buy 1 Get 1 Free sushi deal on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday is still the best ticket in town to settle your sushi urges. Due to Covid restrictions, in restaurant seating is no longer available.

I frequently order the Salmon Houses and Salmon Skin California Rolls - they are delicious, the latter being where the salmon skin is deep fried to a crisp and stuffed in the California roll - the texture is great. All their sushi holds together when you dip it in soya sauce. Today I had the deep fried pork dumplings and they were equally tasty and they do not skimp on the filling. This place is adequately priced and portions are perfect.

Lovely Chinese Restaurant situated at Sloane Square in Bryanston, the place was clean and cozy looking. The sushi was fresh nicely packed and very tasty i’ll certainly be coming back for more and they have a wide variety of options available, my beef chow fan was a bit dry and the beef was dry we ate it anyway. Otherwise lovely place for Chinese Food.

Dong Sheng is our FAVOURITE place for sushi and Chinese food. The tempura prawn fashion sandwiches, salmon houses, rock rolls and salmon skin California rolls are our favourite sushi options. Their wonton and chicken sweet corn soup are delicious and then the chicken Chow Mein, crispy beef or chicken and cashew chicken are all further options we've tried and absolutely loved.
