Salad was nice. Some food was reasonable, like the couscous (not the ribs) and the lamb shank (not the accompanying vegetables). Service was terrible. Waiters couldn't recommend food or time it's delivery correctly. Bringing mains while the table was full of starters. Alcoholic cocktails were watered down. Bathroom was not clean (sink area and seat). It was my friend's birthday treat and after over R2k spent, I wished I had gone elsewhere.

We had an amazing meal at Gemelli! This is our first time to South Africa from the USA and Gemelli did not disappoint! From making the reservation and all the changes that we made along the way, the Gemelli staff were very accommodating! I appreciated all the kindness and professionalism of the staff! Our wait staff was wonderful as well! Thank you Gemelli for helping me celebrate my husband's birthday in Johannesburg!

My friend and I had a great time at Gemelli on Saturday and we're definitely returning soon, both the food and dessert was made to perfection, I have a sweet tooth and the cheesecake is a must repeat.

Black people and oxtail....
We had a our company dinner here. It was great, good food and conversation. Love the vibe of the restaurant. Got myself ...????yes you guessed it....the oxtail pasta dish. For my starter I had their summer tartlet. ????Wonderful flavours in both. For dessert their signature dessert the Gemelli cheesecake. Over all experience proves it's a place to go back to with good friends....????

Gemelli is a world class restaurant. You can taste the passion in the food. That's how good it is. The Phirinyane bar is also a good addition cause the initial space was rather small for their popularity. It's a really great place. U miss the taste of their food from starter to dessert if you haven't been in a while. Absolutely one of my faves!

Beautiful place. Vabriant vibe. A definite place to check out. Black owned ????????. Lovely gentlemen. The menu is amazing, and diverse. I had some yummy ???? riblets for starters, very filling. And I had the Asian pork belly for Main. Very tender and delicious. The mashed potato was to die for. Try some dessert ???? as well if you are a foodie like me. I have the cheese cake with some ice creams.
