What a pleasant surprise having a lunch here
We were greeted by very professional staff and very friendly. Wonderful view from the restaurant of William Nicol Dr with full length windows. There is a fresh Rose on every table with crisp tablecloths on every table. Menu and drinks list is easy to read and the waitron knows the menu with knowledge of the ingredients ( for those with allergies or just wanting to enquire about ingredients)
We ordered a Gu0026T and it was refreshing to see it poured for us. The main course we orders was the Nizami Gosht Biryani the Biryani available In mild or hot
I must say the flavors were amazing although I only had 12 pieces of lamb in that huge dish - would like to see more meat in the dish
My moms dish had about 14 pieces of lamb

The Entertainer brought me here, authentic Indian cuisine. I found the service sub par. We ordered butter chicken, which was great, but the lamb rogan josh was bland and watery. The garlic naan was great! The sambals had too much onion. Overall an average.

The Lamb Madras with Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Naan was perfect for today's weather. I then downed it with Mango Laas.

Very plush and great setting accompanied with excellent service. The staff go an extra mile to make you feel at home. Lovely food ????

The Raj has authentic Indian food. The restaurant is neat and tidy. I had the Prawn Masala and it was really good. Portion size is decent. The Raj is on the entertainer so it's also good value for money. The restaurant was also not very busy so was able to have a nice and quite dinner.

Expensive for portion sizes, however good taste. Also, beware of how much is charged on the card machine when paying, I was overcharged R100. Manager has rectified this issue, but I feel this may be a trick used by the waiters on unsuspecting patrons.
