The atmosphere is light and serene. European vibes. Breakfast was an absolute delight. Loved it. Fresh ingredients, plated well. Flavours are balanced. Will definitely be returning. Had the French Broiche, Mocha and a Grate breakfast.

Where do I begin? Visited Grate Cafe on 23/04.
Received a very warm welcome.
The waiters were attentive.
The setting is amazing. It's so peaceful. Kushaya umoya foreal.

Prices - reasonably priced. R610 bill for 3 meals, 4 non alc drinks and 1 dessert
When you get the chance, do yourself a favour and visit Grate. You won't regret it!

Amazing food, great service and dog-friendly ????????u200d????. Hidden gem on Fricker Rd in Illovo. Lovely venue to enjoy a delicious breakfast or for that special event!

Grate is one is those spots you come across and it becomes your favourite place. The food is divine and their service is the best

I wasn't all that impressed with the coffee. Service was slow. Breakfast decent.

Fantastic little cafe in the middle of the road that's perfect for meetings, breakfast and lunch but it's not suitable for large groups. The food is very tasty and well presented. I had a mouth watering fruit salad that left me full from lunch till dinner. The service is good and the waiters are friendly.
