Very disappointed in my experience at Monkeybluz this past weekend. Menus for bottles were tippexed out. Waiting staff were few, rude and would make very unnecessary facial expressions when asked for help. Service was slow and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Worst of all, management walked around the event making rude and racist remarks about customers and performers. 0/10; Would not recommend for dining or event hosting.

Would not recommend wasting any money and time here. The owners of the restaurant were incredibly rude and arrogant as well as classist as various negative remarks were made by them openly in front of their customers . They failed to deliver on an order that our table had paid for and had falsely advertised drink specials to patrons that upon arrival were not delivered.

We cannot have unity in this country when "professionals" are handling a business while making subtle derogatory comments about customers. In a new South Africa this place is run by individuals who at heart are utterly appalling.

Terrible place to spend the weekend. The owners and one of the waiters tried to beat up one of the guests for simply trying to call his friend from inside. The food was under-cooked and the manager was far too busy texting on her phone to tend to the needs of the customers. Definitely not a place i'll be returning to anytime soon
