Excellent food for our group of friends. Everbody enjoyed their tasty food especially the Amouse Bouche and the palet cleansers in between, where a nice addition. It is well worth the trip to this secluded location near Sandton. The pricing was reasonable for the excellent food on offer. The restaurant seems a little under staffed for our size table but the waiter coped well. The restaurant even serves South African water (major plus, why restaurants blow their carbon for print on Italian water is bizzare) and the Darling Sweets afters is a nice touch. The wine list was a little limiting but we drank ourselves merry non the less. Why is this place quiet on a Friday night?

Beautiful secluded restaurant in Sandton. When you enter the gates you feel like you're not in Sandton. Great knowledgeable staff, calming ambience. The chef made a special dish for me because I'm vegetarian which was really a lovely touch. Great place

Our experience at Reubens at The Ivy Villa Hotel started off with a delightful Amuse Bouche which certainly set the standard for the evening. We then moved onto the assortment of breads accompanied with a smoked butter. The entrees were presented impeccably and is was clear that thought and care was taken into every ingredient that made up the entree. We were then served with a refreshing palette cleanser that once again tantalised the taste buds. Mains were then served which finished off the evening on a high note.

I would urge you to try Reubens at The Ivy Villa Hotel so that you may experience fine dining with a twist.

A special mention to our waiter Busani, who was attentive, understanding and knowledgable concerning the menu items.

The Manager, Marika also contributed to a memorable evening.

Do yourself a favour, come and experience Reubens.

Tasty indulgence of the senses! Everything was delicious and thoughtful from starters to main to dessert. Great ambience and service made it a memorable experience.

Great spot for business meetings, away from the city traffic but centrally located near shopping malls and restaurants. A big bonus is the two beautiful pups on the premises.

This restaurant offers truely fantastic food. I had fairly high expectations and they were definitely met.The venue is great, located at the Ivy Villa Hotel. The food was well presented and very tasty. I would definitely recommend having dessert as it was fantastic. The wait staff were a bit slow but the flavour of the food more than made up for that.

Can’t understand this - vegan main meal, priced at R195, completely bland and may not qualify as a starter portion in most restaurants. In comparison, Chicken dish - a lot cheaper, and almost 3 times the quantity.

Ordered the farfalle, the sauce came without olives and basil - just tomatoes. When asked, apparently the trainee chef got it wrong - the head chef was on leave.

Won’t be going back there and will not be recommending this restaurant.

All round poor - Reuben, you would be very disappointed ????
