This is my go to park for some nice visual rest and relaxation time. With A view of some of the top resident buildings and hotels. Very nice and quiet during the weekdays if you just want to meditate and be silent - with very few people just relaxing and sleeping, during the weekends it’s packed with families having picnics, parties and kids just having a great time. Opens at 6am and closes at 6pm which I think is lovely to keep out vagrants. Has plenty of swings , an outdoor gym and lots and lots of nature which is always my highlight, a really lovely space for family outdoor time.

Regular visitor. A little piece of heaven in the heart of Sandton. For kids and for those that just want to take a stroll and clear their mind. Well looked after park. Great path for jogging / walking. Baby and toddler friendly. Secured parking. Great for family picnics!

walking my schnauzer allows me to see the beautiful nature we live in. this season seen two sets of ducklings been raised and use this natural river.
We need to clean this water channel it has a lot of pollution coming from upstream and it is amazing that the ducklings can actually live with this city pollution. see below for how nature can live beside human pollution

We have been to your park many times always have a enjoyable time .if you feel like a good run there is a path that runs around the park also a balloon if you wish to get a good view of Sandton . and not forgetting the picnic side of things .PIcs overlooking mushroom park shot on the P4

Nice park. Well kept. Lots of kids. Dogs walk on lead (or off of sociable and well behaved - but please make sure to pick up after them!). Restaurant is great, nice indoor and terrace overlooking park. Gets quite busy at main lunch time (1.30-3.00?). Food was good, enough variety and choice in the menu and fairly priced.

This park is pretty cool especially for parents that like keeping fit cause it's got an outdoor gym. Secondly it's now got a restaurant that everyone is raving about ,Truffle Bistro if I'm not mistaken. I went for a bootcamp session and I just loved how everything is accommodating to adults and kids( it also has a play area)

Great little park in the middle of Sandton area. Great jungle gyms for kids. A gym area. River and walking path.
Worth the visit
