Mutton bunny chow only had half the bread scooped out, and that was half filled with potatoes. Only 3-4 pieces of meat and the rest was gravy. The bread was stale. It was tasty but definitely not worth it. I spent extra to have no bones, so imagine there would only be space for 1 piece of meat if there were bones.

Go to place for us we travel to SA often and this place is a saviour for us as many colleagues are vegetarian.

Must try option for NonVeg is Chicken 65.

Gulab Jamun and ice ???? cream for dessert...can not go wrong

staff is kind and welcoming

Owner himself runs the show so you can be sure of service.

And they deliver as well ....

We ordered take away meanwhile we decided to have a quick chaat u0026 with all my past experience in Jo'burg I did not raise my expectations (i am really fussy when it comes to Chaat its either 10/10 or none)... however to my surprise it turned out to be THE BEST chole tikki and reminded me of the one I use to have while growing up in ???????? couldn't have imagined I would ever get that flavor here, whoever is their chef right now is a definitely a keeper! Not that I haven't tried their food before but this for sure has ensured my regular visit.
I wish I could give more than 5 stats

I ordered sooji for dessert excepting the rich, creamy, melting in your mouth and bursting fullof flavor yellow sooji, but when I recieved my order I got watered down, pale, absolutely no flavor sooji

Highly disappointed, nothing authentic about this Indian restaurant.

One of the most authentic North Indian Restaurants in Johannesburg. We have been supporting this brand from the day they opened their door more 10years ago.
The best Butter Chicken ever made in the traditional way that the punjabi’s make. This is the reddish orange in colour and the most delectable Butter Naan also the traditional way in a tandoor oven. Never been disappointed with their food.

I'm unfortunately giving this a 2 because the customer service was amazing hats off to the staff but .. the food was really not up to standards .. the butter chicken was not like the original taste of India in fordsburg that is the yellow authentic one. This was a Copper Chimney type of butter chicken which was good just not worth the price. The Naan was soaked in butter or oil and it was R20 each very upsetting because it was like a thick roti not Naan. The tandoori chicken had no taste but the chicken biryani was amazing .. This is definitely not like Fordsburg food .. I expected quality as it is situated In Rivonia but definitely not worth my time again. ????
