I stayed at the Capital Empire for four days. The staff at the reception are welcoming and caring. The room was very clean, spacious and bright thanks to a large bay window.
In the bathroom, there seemed to be a leak as the sink and cabinet were full of water every day. The fridge motor was making a huge noise so I had to turn it off to sleep. I was not bothered by the noise as I think I had a quiet neighbour but I could hear perfectly what he said when he had a call.
The restaurant offers a hearty breakfast with a wide choice. In the evening, you can eat good food for a very decent price. Big up to Victor who was very warm, funny and helpful. I regret that the rest of the restaurant staff are not as smiley and friendly.
Despite this I recommend this hotel: safe, well equipped and clean rooms, swimming pool and fitness center, located not far from the shopping mall.
One last thing for the cleaning staff: please don't change all the towels every day when you are promoting the ecological impact of cleaning them...

The Hotel was clean, modern and well positioned. Within a 5 minute walk to Sandton city mall. Right behind the USA consulate.

The two bedroom apartment had plenty of space and was fully equipped. Comfortable Beds, huge bathtub, spacious lounge area and beautiful views of Sandton City from balcony.

The main dining area was modern with a great ambiance. This are lead out to the lap pool area.

The buffet breakfast and lunch was of high quality. We never ate dinner at the hotel but I'm sure it would have also been of high standard.

The staff were exepectional, friendly and eager to help.

I would highly recommend this hotel

When the hotel was launched, it was great, fully professional

Now maybe because of the tenants it has lost that exclusivity and is marred with skimpy dressed people who seem to be regular service providers at the hotel.

I'm very very disappointed, I liked the venue and hosted a variety of events there, but no more

Convenient location. Very room with view. Decent and friendly service. Good food at the restaurant. I like the complimentary shuttle, though you have to book ahead.

A truly spectacular hotel, with a beautiful view of Sandton and its surrounds. The rooms are modern, with everything a professional would need to work. Great WIFI data connectivity. The ground floor Bar and Restaurant has an excellent menu and a diverse range of wines. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. The hotel also has a high quality guest gym too. The hotels proximity to the Sandton Gautrain Station was also very useful for people coming in from OR Tambo Airport.

Attended a summit at The Capital Empire. Very professional and well equipped. Food at lunch was really good.

I enjoyed my stay, beautiful open space at the restaurant to dine. The staff is professional, sometimes a bit too serious. Perhaps it's because it's Sandton. However, once you get to know them they're really kind and warm. Overall an enjoyable experience. Sandton City (mall) is walking distance and safe to walk to during the day.
