Really good place to stay. Excellent location, very quiet and safe but only a fifteen minute walk into town.
Rooms are immaculate, breakfast is terrific and the staff are very helpful.
I've stayed here twice and really enjoyed it.
Highly recommended.

In my 6 trips to South Africa, I’ve stayed in tons of guesthouses and Baruch is by far on top of my list for cleanliness, comfort, service and quality of breakfast. The facilities are well maintained and they really take proper measures against covid. We’ll definitely return again. Highly highly recommended.

Mariette and her staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The beds make you want to fall asleep instantly and the decor is exquisite. We couldn’t stay for breakfast each day, after which Mariette started preparing breakfast packs for us to take along each day. She even kept our gin for us for when we came back on our next business trip.

Very neat and elegant. Our host was very welcoming, nothing is too much for them, food was great. All in all an excellent place to stay.

Super friendly people. Warm welcome. Big spacious rooms overlooking pool area. Beautifully decorated. Bed was a little soft but they are able to take the mattress top off which will give a firmer experience. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

Beautiful room with comfortable King size bed. Garden and pool fantastic and as for the staff, very welcoming and catered to our every need. I would highly recommend this little gem situated in the suburbs of Stellenbosch, away from all the noise in town.

Very disappointed that I did not get the Mexican room at the Rhodes facility which I initially booked. Even more disappointed that I was only told and moved to the Lovell facility when I arrived. No prior notification or approval. The reason I chose Baruch was for the Mexican room as I wanted something different from the normal african inspired designs. Instead I was placed into their Out of Africa room so same old same old.
Other than that the service was good and the breakfast delicious.
