I have two very good friends who love wine and fine dining. Clos Malverne was a suggestion from them. Man, I was not disappointed. The view from our table was awesome. The food was fantastic, and the wine was first class. The service was really exceptional, very friendly, and yet absolutely professional. The atmosphere is very relaxed and elegant. So here is my opinion and suggestion. Try it; you will not be disappointed. To the awesome staff and management, you definitely get my stamp of approval ???? ????.

We were in the area and found the Ice Cream and Wine pairing on Google Maps and figured that would be something quite unique.

Sadly they were fully booked for that and couldn’t accommodate any walk-ins, but we decided to sit down and maybe have something small anyway.

The welcome drink MCC they had was absolutely magical.

Something small ended up being their steak and wedges with pepper sauce special with a glass of wine and it was truly the best steak I’ve had in a restaurant in ages with a divine sauce and excellent wine.

Turned out being surprisingly well portioned and very affordable and we’ll definitely be back for the wine and ice cream pairing.

No photo can do justice to the scenery and vibe. Just amazing. If you are looking for a fine dining experience that will fill you up, whilst having a burst of flavours and textures with every bite, Clo Malverne should be at the top of your list. Come for the a la carte menu or the set menu with a wine pairing for each of the 4 dishes. Be sure to have your glass of water close, after the second or third very generous glass of wine, it will come in handy.

A beautiful view with a great atmosphere, good wine and fantastic food. What more can one ask for. The staff was friendly. We had a function there one evening. I can recommend them for something similar. It was really an evening I'll remember for long.

I have wanted to have a meal at Clos Malverne for years and finally got round to it. They didn’t disappoint. The views are incredible and I had THE BEST malva pudding I’ve ever had. Will absolutely go again

Beautiful setting! I grabbed the winter special which is on until the end of August 2022 - pan fried hake, miso mayo, pak choi, nori u0026 sesame seasoned potato wedges with a glass of Devonet.

It was perfection. The food tasted delicious and the wine paired with it was on par. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure all round. With it being Women's Day, the ladies at our table received a complimentary bottle of wine. How special!

The only negative is that the interior of the restaurant could be updated. There are many pieces of art against the wall, but all the different pieces don't work together in one room. In this case, less would be more. But that is really nitpicking- I had a good time, good food, lovely wine and would return without thinking twice.

This is going to be long so scroll to the bottom for the summary if you are not interested in the read???? As parents of a toddler we don't get the opportunity to do date night quite often but this time around we did a date day. Stopped in at the Spa for a couple's Swedish Massage and the therapists have hand straight from God! The set up, the music, the therapy are all designed to put you in a relaxed state, needless to say there was a bit of drool lol. They offer complimentary drinks with your session and as a first time massagee you will not regret the booking. Please check out the Clos Malverne website for bookings and specials.

We booked at the restaurant for the Food and wine pairing and we were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and the wine pairing created a symphony of flavor in our mouths! Portions are not small but designed to keep you wanting more. We started at 12 and left just before 3pm. Our wonderful waitress, Lizaan (I sincerely hope I am spelling her name right) was informative and not overbearing. She gave us more then enough time to digest one course before introducing the next and checked on us to make sure everything was still fine. Their flagship wines and MCC are a must try and obviously I walked out with their MCC Brut????

In a nutshell: Spa - other wordly
Restaurant: You have not lived until you have eaten there

I wish there was a higher rating then 5 Stars because they deserve at least 100! Do yourself a favour and go to Clos Malverne, you will not regret it
