We travelled in the middle of winter and the fireplace, heaters and electric blankets certainly made it cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the showers were great, and there was plenty of space for family games / taking it easy. The views are impressive but the location for us wasn't perfect and there is quite a winding dirt road through the farm to get to the house. It may be that for a longer family holiday not in the middle of winter when farm life is what is important, Fransmanshuijs would be ideal, or as a shorter-term base on a winelands tour? Overall we enjoyed our stay at Fransmanshuijs. Izette goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as good as can be.

Excellent place to stay plus for wedding g guests to stay.
Definitely recomend this place.

Had a wonderful few days there with friends and kids. Would have been better if the blueberry picking was closer for walking with the kids. The chicken coup was I. The managers/owners yard so was a bit odd going into their personal space to take the kids to collect fresh eggs. None the less was a great place to unwind!!

Thank you for staying at this magnificent, spacious, awesomely designed place. The rooms are huge, beds are comfy, kitchen has decent quality tools and from the terrace you have an amazing view.
The team is super friendly!

It was perfection. The area is beautiful, the hosts were gracious, the accomodations were immaculate.
It was 5 minutes away from some wonderful wineries with food and drink pairings, and about 15 minutes from the town of Stellenbosch.
If this spot works for your booking, you should not hesitate to grab it.
None of us wanted to leave.

One beautiful place to enjoy a getaway from the City.It is beautifully decorated and each room is so unique. I love the fact that every room has it's own bathroom. Izette is such a lovely host.
