You need time here...Book yourself out for the rest of the day!!The view the food and the wine..all 5 stars????????????????Henning our waiter was a gem and we loved his service and the bread they give as taster brought back memories from my childhood❤️❤️Next time it will be a wine tasting too????????

We had our wedding here. Everything gets 5 stars. The staff, the food, the view, the venue, the cleanliness, the prices.

Very child friendly (our kids aged from 6 to 12 played all afternoon and loved it, and were happy with what they ordered from the kids menu). Our food was excellent, each dish cooked to perfection (especially the salmon, which we requested “seared” instead of medium), and very reasonably priced. The cheese and cold meats platter was great as a starter to share, and the flammkuchen a winner amongst young and old. Location is just lovely. Service was very friendly.

Friendly staff, good food, great atmosphere. The kids play area is great and so is the wine. Parents can enjoy a good few relaxing hours while the toddlers entertain themselves on the jungle gym. We frequent them whenever we visit the Cape Town area and we are never disappointed. You can't go wrong. Enjoy!

The food is really disappointing, when you consider the the price. My duck breast (R185) was two small pieces of overcooked duck. My boyfriend had the pork belly (R150), which was dry. At that price you're expecting food that is cooked properly. We originally planned on eating dessert but didn't bother after the poor quality of the main. It's unfortunate as the venue is beautiful and the service was good.

Buyer beware, horrific starter, then forgot to ask how I wanted the special cooked and brought me it rare then I sent it back and asked for it medium well, it returned medium rare. Orded another item from the menu and in the end they charged me for both. Mediocre desert. Where I come any self respecting establishment will at least cancel what was sent back to the chef, especially if you order something else. Too many other good places to waste your time on pretenders, stick with the amazing wine and good atmosphere leave the food to the professionals.
