Awful experience or should I say a lack thereof. My fiancé called whilst we were at a different establishment having a picnic to ask whether we could come to purchase some wine and have it there. Due to the fact that we were given a yes, we then cut our lovely picnic short by 30 mins which we would rather have continued spending there. We were told that we could come provided we arrived at 5. We arrived 3 minutes past 5 due to slower than anticipated traffic. When we got there we saw a lady leaving. We then found out later that this was the manager who had told us we could purchase a bottle of wine to drink there. The establishment closes at 6 on a Sunday which is also noted on Google maps. The young girl who was left at the estate very confidently turned us away because her manager had told her to leave early. We are not unreasonable people who would have overstayed our welcome. We’d usually purchase everything and pay upfront and be sure to leave ten minutes before an establishment closes. Disgusting treatment. I will never support this place or recommend to anyone.

This beautiful wine estate has it all. Beautiful views, great wine, romantic accommodation and delicious classy food. We stayed in the Homestead for a weekend and it was quiet, comfortable, very tastefully decorated and offered the most amazing morning and evening views from the bedroom. It is on the expensive side. But well worth it. Spoil yourself. We'll most certainly be back.

We really like this place. For several reasons and have been back many times. Food, wine and service is top notch. Kids friendly. Recommended.

Beautiful views, beautiful wines ???? and great food ????????????️. But best of all the great food prepared by a female chef. Definitely a must when you in Stellenbosh.
