A truly fantastic spot to eat a delicious fillet or sirloin with chips and a glass of wine. The quality is excellent and consistently good. Make sure to sit outside underneath the trees to fully appreciate what the winelands has to offer. Large open grass area for the kids to play in while the adults enjoy good wine too! Make sure you wear your mask! Temperature taken upon entry.

Amazing gardens, which are rich in plants and trees. The staff was attentive and professionals.
Food is simple for lunch with only three options ( beef fillet , sirloin or salmon). The fries could be hand cut and the salad a bit proper.
Tasty wines.

This is one of my favourite Stellenbosch estates.
Wonderful environment, great lunch and excellent wines.
Happy to give this estate 5 stars.
I'd give 6 if I could.
This was the steak that I was given during the tasting. Also, top quality fillet.

Very nice and very typical Oak tree Stellenbosch winery. Excellent lunch and wine, staff was helpful, friendly and competent - we highly recommend this place!

This place is absolutely at the apex of hospitality and quality in all facets. Truly wonderful food, marvelous wines and similarly fantastic staff. Also, price quality is excellent

Fantastic place. The restaurant lunch menu is ideal..only 3 choices on the menu but such excellent choices, you really don't need other options. Staff is friendly, great ambience and the food is exceptional. The grounds are beautiful and sitting outside when the weather is ideal, is the best way to experience Rust en Vrede.
