Really nice venue....full of interesting areas to explore. When you enter the building you get a sense of green luxury. Its absolutely a stunning venue for an outdoor wedding....( it would make the most stunning backdrop for wedding pics as well).
What i felt was missing...once we parked, their were signs indicating "Wine Tasting" no signs indicating "Restaurant this way" so we were left a little confused as to which way the restaurant was ( it so happens they are in the same place). On the food side, I felt our waiter was a little lax...he poured one round of drinks, and the rest of the time it was do it yourself mode ( so service was a little on the slow side for me). Food came well presented, the cheese platter I ordered was not exceptional, but looking at everyone's else's plates which happened to be salmon, seemed to go down well. The eating area was outdoors...the tables were placed nice and far apart and the atmosphere was continental. I do recommend this place for a laid-back lunch, stunning lush surroundings...and really good wine.

Very good wines but service was lacking. We booked multiple days in advance through dineplan, but 20 minutes before our reservation time (and 5 minutes after we had already gotten there) we received an email telling us that they cannot accept a reservation after 4pm (ours was at 4:30) and that we’d need to reschedule. Similarly, after 45 minutes we were told we need to leave so that the person serving our wines could catch their bus. They didn’t even give us time to call a taxi—we had to walk the long road to the gate and wait there.

Overall it was an odd experience.

Treat yourself to a day out in the country on a spectacular wine estate. Fantastic food and beautiful setting. We pre-ordered the picnic and even though the weather was not suited for a picnic we enjoyed our scrumptious selection of picnic food presented in a beautiful wooden box, indoors by a log fire. The quality and quantity of our picnic food far surpassed our expectations. Highly recommended this gem. Rolling lawns for little ones to play on and outdoor seating to be enjoyed in good weather. Wheelchair friendly too.

Very overpriced wines. Enjoyed the white wines but the red wines are forgettable. If you'd like to spend on average ZAR300+ (sometimes ZAR600+) on a bottle of wine, this is the place for you.

Simple but enjoyable snack platter available with lovely outdoor seating. We went here on a perfect sunny autumn day which made sitting outside a pleasure. If it's windy, cloudy or rainy, rather sit inside as there's no shelter over the outdoor seating.

Lovely place to visit, but if you're looking for easy-drinking wines, I'd rather go somewhere else.

Staff are lovely and friendly and they know the estate's wine well. Excellent service and they can be commended for this.

Absolutely fantastic service with a delicious menu that pairs perfectly with the wines. Gardens are beautiful and well attended - definitely worth a visit.

Lovely lunch, friendly staff, great food.

Would love a little bit more distance between tables and some form of baby changing table in the restaurant bathroom.
