From the moment we first spoke to Janine (manager) to the checkout, we were just made to feel so incredibly welcome. The Guest House is breathtakingly beautiful!!! Great location. Super clean and awesome brekkie. Wish we could have stayed longer. Janine is extremely knowledgeable about the area and arranged a lovely dinner for us at a nearby wine estate. We fell in love with Stellenbosch all over again thanks to the beautiful experience we had.

I have just stayed at Roosenwijn guest house. It was amazing. The room very comfy and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast.
The location could not be better. Right near town centre with a beautiful botanical gardens just across the road.
If every in Stellenbosch again I will definitely re book.

Lovely quaint guest house in the middle of Stellenbosch. Impeccable service, kind friendly and spotlessly clean. They upgraded our room just on a whim to welcome us to Stellenbosch which i felt was really kind and so welcome. I will definitely be back to this lovely little hotel. It a gem.

Everything was fine but the rooms were a little small.

My only real complaint was that all appliances were unplugged!
I had to climb under the bedside table to plug in the lamp. Then when I wanted tea I had to repeat same to unplug the lamp and insert the kettle, which was harder to do in the dark.

Crawling is not usually a problem for me but I recently sustained a shoulder injury so in this case it was very painful and uncomfortable.

No night porter or receptionist so I had to go it alone!

Other than that, the breakfast was good.
The decor is excellent! It is done in a cape dutch colonial style. And the location was good. Right next to botanical museum.

Staff were helpful and pleasant

I had a lovely stay at Roosenwijn. Small details makes a place special and with Roosenwijn it was an access card to the Botanical gardens. The guest house is next door to the gardens and you will be able to, no, you have to go enjoy one of the most diverse gardens in the world.

Roosenwijn is one of the little gems of Stellenbosch. The location is perfect, a few minutes from the mall and restaurants and right next to the beautiful botanical garden. The decor is elegantly beautiful and the breakfast is delicious
