Amazing botanical garden. It's small in size but has the most diverse collection of plants. The bonsai display is a treat to any bonsai enthusiast. Will come again in Spring.

Please raise the entry fee!!!!!!! I went to the gardens today and they are spectacular, especially the water plants, the succulents, and the cacti. What a wonderful place and a wonderful addition to a visit to Stellenbosch. It's a magical place.
But I paid R15 or about 0.80EUR to enter. I would have gladly paid R50-100 and that money could help fund the garden. Please consider raising the entry fee to get the funds for the garden (at least for foreign visitors).

Our visit to the Botanical Gardens in Stellenbosh was lovely! It is so peaceful there, you actually can't believe you're just next to the road. There is a restaurant in the centre of the garden, that will definitely be on my list for my next visit.
You can have a picnic on the lawn as well, perfect for a date????. The entrance cost was R15, and free for our little one. Highly recommend going if you want to escape a bit!

Worth a visit! Great bonsai display and cheesecake delicious in the coffee shop.
Very relaxing and lots of diversity. Well maintained.

Probably a cliché to call this an urban oasis but it is. Once you entered the garden, you can hardly hear the outside noise and with the many shady corners, it is easy to understand why there are always people around. The garden has a diverse collection of plants and I love seeing the garden change with the seasons. It is very peaceful and someplace we regularly return to. Intrigued to see what the new flowerbeds at the Neethling street entrance will look like once completed.

Entry is R15pp for non Stellenbosch varsity students. A lovely little garden. We walked here from our accommodation as everything is so close. The Bonsai garden was truly spectacular! Great place.

Lovely place. Had a beautiful stroll and some of the best hot chocolate in town.
