This was the worst accommodation we have ever booked. Such a disappointment!
I have no idea how this establishment got 3 stars.
The online pictures are COMPLETELY misleading.
The worst was the musty smell on everything, most probably due to the poor ventilation and moisture build-up.
The shower ceiling actually drips back on you as you shower and this continues from the ceiling above your bed at night.
Dirty bedding, carpets I wonder if it's ever been vacuumed, a broken toilet seat in one room, a random piece of glass covered by some cloth over the toilet (the cover obviously broken or gone) in the other room. Not at all safe for the little ones we traveled with.
If it wasn't for the fact that we arrived after dark, I would have looked for different accommodation immediately.
But we slept as best we could, and booked out before the crack of dawn the next morning.
I hope the owners do some urgent repairs and improvements, because this is daylight robbery.

While the venue may only have a one star rating - the friendliness and hospitality of Roland and Suzanne is 5 Star plus!

We found ourselves nestled in a little hideaway while we were on our momcation at the Little Hideaway.
Close to amenities and a quick drive to some amazing restaurants.
The stay here is an experience, it was peaceful and serene, exactly what is needed to recover from screaming kids.
The hosts made our stay extra special, Roland and Bernadette are exceptional hosts and we honestly could not have been in better hands.
Cannot wait to return in warmer months to spend the entire day in the inviting pool while the fires go for braai feast.
This is an awesome hidden gem. We absolutely loved our stay here!

Only stayed one night but what a find! Would definitely stay again if in the area. Had a beautiful poolside room with a glass ceiling... Woke up looking at the trees! Absolutely amazing.

We spent a lovely weekend at the Little Hideaway Guesthouse. The place is nested in a green and quiet area and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool is a great bonus for families and people who want to relax. Roland is a very friendly host. Thank you for the wonderful stay

Lovely little gem in the heart of Stellenbosch. No fuss no bother tranquil and very pleasant. All we needed to get out and about. Perfectly located.

The environment is good. The owners are too friendly but we were not free enough in terms of expressing our happiness although we had no music during the next day.
