We have eaten here a couple of times over 3-4 years. We always had GREAT food and GREAT service. This week we had pizza and pasta and then the seafood platter and the sangria. The food is fresh, best seafood, best salad, best pasta, everything is perfect and then the staff deserves a compliment too. Even though it is busy most of the time, they are attentive, polite, gives suggestions when you ask for it and just overall caring. Cannot fault them at all. The manager/owner comes by every table to check on everyone. We have to give them 5 stars + for food and service, based on our experiences here of more than 5 times over 4 years! Oh and the location and few is just an absolute BONUS!!! ????????

What an amazing experience. Made a short notice booking for Valentine's Day, Nicola assisted telephonically. She advised me that she will call me back to confirm and surely enough she did. The service from the time we arrived was on point, the food was perfect, there was nothing I could flaw. Definitely the best experience by far, so much so that I needed to review it. Well done La Spiaggia and thank you Nicola for the exceptional customer service.

We decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the Musgrave area, u0026 go for a walk on the Umhlanga promenade for a change being such a perfect winters day.

Umhlanga you did not disappoint - we decided to stop at the LA Spiaggia for Brunch and some sun after not being here since before level LOCKDOWN 5.

I Had a delightful salad, hublet was hungry and had a burger. The staff were Uber cool, venue as always breathtaking as you have the perfect ocean view, u0026 it's always fun watching everyone go by.

Unfortunately didnt take any photos of all the food however atmosphere and view was amazing as we ate here for lunch/supper today.We did get abit lost trying to find the place as the gps wasnt really that helpfull but we eventually found it and tried it out,The table ordered the following:

The service was really out of this world and the waiter made sure to check up and make sure we were happy all the time,overall a great service and atmosphere.

The view of the ocean while dining makes this restaurant even greater than most,I mean who wouldn't want to enjoy a lovely meal and drink while the the ocean is only a few feet away from them.

●6 oysters(perfect oysters and fresh as they should be,much bigger in size than expected and was delicious)

●prawn and calamari combo(calamari was cooked perfectly as well as the prawns,the salad itself with the dressing was really good aswell and was a great dish,only con would be under seasoned)

●line fish and prawn combo(the line fish of the day was a yellowtail fish,the prawns was really delicious and chips crunchy on the outside and soft and melts in your mouth once you get to the inside however one con would be that the yellowtail was overcooked and dry,the crust on it as well was burnt on the bottom other than that a decent dish)

●calamari and chorizo(calamari and chorizo was cooked perfectly however just lacked some seasoning but a great dish in the end)

●mussels(only problem I had with the mussels was seasoning as it was abit bland but the sauce and mussels itself after some salt was added was really great and perfectly cooked)

I'll rate it a 4 out of 5 instead of a 5 out of 5 because of underseasoning and line fish mistake

Had the Line fish ( Yellowtail) - was the best fish I've even had the pleasure of eating. Everyone else really enjoyed their meal. First class establishment. Owner was circulating and service was good.

Always a favourite! Especially after a sun filled day, perfect place for an affordable meal and refreshing cocktails! I would absolutely recommend the parma pizza. With the ocean as your primary view, the experience just gets better!

We ordered take aways to enjoy on the beach. I waited about 10-15min to prepare the food. The food was hot fresh and delicious, I do not mind waiting if the food was this great. This is a perfect place to order a light meal or snack.
