Update: 23/10/2021, still having really good quality food. Vegetarian and vegan. Food is very fulling. Amazing coffees and iced coffees. Iced teas. Consistent in quality. That's moves them to 5 star. Last review was 2 years ago. They had 4 stars. It's staying this way. Maybe even a 4.5 star. Excellent food. This is a quite spot tucked inside Woolworths store. Very private. The quality of food and service by staff is good. A pricey spot but you can tell it's good food.

Having been to every single Woolworths Café in Durban, the La Lucia branch delivers the absolute worst service, experienced not just once, but ever time I have been there recently. Having ordered a grande cappuccino and scone, by the time I had finished my cappuccino the scone had still not arrived. If it was something that needed to be prepared, it would still have been acceptable. When paying for my cappuccino all I received was a lame "I'm sorry". Please get your act together and train your staff properly.

Great quality that you'd expect from any Woolies Cafe. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and all COVID protocols observed... Lovely experience

Always pleasant and convenient. The lunch time buffet is excellent in it's choice and combination of food stuffs, albeit expensive. Their coffee which used to be advertised as African and free trade has definitely deteriorated in taste.

Great food! Poor service! Had to wait so long in what we assumed to be a line to be seated until we had to ask the manager to seat us. Every time we needed service we had to wave someone down. Seems like they either under staffed or under trained.

Not a vast amount of food to choose from on the buffet table, but very tasty. "A little bit of this and a little bit of that" got the taste buds appreciating the lunch.

Nice to have variety and not one huge plate of "one item"
