Great place. Rooms where clean, Godfrey made me feel very welcome and I think the water feature is beautiful. If I can maybe make a suggestion is to maybe get some covered parking for guests vehicles?

Faraway Lodge is okay for a short stay for a couple or a single person. We appreciated that they accommodated our late check in. The property is well maintained with a nice pool. The rooms are simple and clean but nothing extra to it.

Some things to improve on. We had to ask for extra towels. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. They had no halal or vegetarian hot breakfast options. One cereal option. Filter coffee only. I would have appreciated more of a variety.

No hot water.
Not the best quality mattress on the bed.
Very limited TV viewing.
On the plus side, it was clean and Godfrey was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast and coffee were good.

Had such a pleasant experience. The owners were able to accommodate me and my colleagues on very short notice. Breakfast was cooked by Godfrey every morning and he was such a delightful host. Their staff always kept our room clean and replenished our consumables. We were incredibly happy with our stay and will continue using their facilities on our business excursions to Durban!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Faraway Lodge Bu0026B. Godfrey the host is a super star. He is friendly, made us feel welcome and serves a delicious breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean and the overall accommodation looks well looked after. The room is also equipped with a desk and is therefore perfect for business trips.

Poor lighting in the bedroom. No stairs between the parking lot and the building which could be risky when raining as it's uneven and a bit steep.
Yummy chocolates though and good space in the rooms.
