We had previously visited the Bentley (pre-covid) and stayed in a luxury room. The service was amazing, the bed was super comfortable, the duvet inner was duck down and the towels were great. We returned last week and decided to get the executive suite. We were given an option between suite 7 or 8. Suite 8 was smaller than the luxury suite we had previously stayed in but had a walled-off bathroom, so we chose suite 8. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable, the duvet was a very thin hollow fiber duvet and the pillows were extremely hard too. The bathroom towels had holes in them. We aren’t sure if it is a function of the room we selected, but we paid more for an executive room, expecting a higher quality stay. We also got back to our suite once and the suite had been left completely open, with all of our valuables inside at risk. I assume the cleaning staff cleaned our room and didn’t close or lock the room door thereafter. I would say our stay was more 2/3 star unlike our previous stay, which was closer to 5 star.
