There's nothing wow about Makhabane. It's just a shopping center for students residing at the UKZN Westville Campus. There you can find Bright Spark Café, which serves as a both a tuck shop and food joint, TLG Driving School and the new Campus Hairport Barber Shop.

Best place to chill and wait for an Uber...You can also do your hair in our best saloon,,, there's also a cafeteria with pool table....

Great fried chips and vetkoeks!!! As a student- I also love their homemade food- helps for those lazy days or busy days. So grateful for Makhabane shopping centre

Great food. Reliable service, and great place to sit and enjoy a game of pool both for competitive reasons or for just pure enjoyment of the Game, Makhabane has been at the centre of on campus culture.

And now boasting a new makeover and upgrade one can even be forgiven to forgot how vital a role this shop serves at the university especially when the cafeteria closes at the quad.

It is indeed a place convenient for both pedestrians and those riding on vehicles. It's road signs, a traffic circle and a variety of stores it's never a dull moment, and I like the fact that as a commuter, I find both refreshments/food and transport in the same place, since there's a taxi rank and a bus stop in the same place also.

It's a good small shopping centre. I usually go there to buy some small staffs and food especially fast foods and i think it was specially built for campus students. We also get taxis there which transport us to any place along the way to town..
