My stay was so warm, from the minute I stepped in at reception, recieved by Palesa, all the way to my ward, I already felt at home. Majority if not all the nurses there are so kind and always willing to help, they always make sure to come say "goodbye" and "hello" with every change of shifts, that place became my safe heaven, it was hard to leave. Keep up the spirit of compassion,its rare from nurses in our country.

I was handed over for an unpaid amount of R450 without prior communication about the outstanding amount that the medical aid did not cover. I was contacted by the first debt collectors 6 months after the hospital stay that the account was related to. After being contacted by these debt collectors that Life gave my details to, I paid the account and sent proof of payment. I was then told by these debt collectors that the account had been closed and did not hear anything more. I then started receiving calls from another debt collecting company a year and a half after the account had been paid and have been sent from pillar to post to try and get them to stop calling me. Today I was contacted by a third debt collector regarding the same account, two years after the fact. When I finally lost my temper, I was told to calm down and they just didn't pick up the payment. If this is the treatment I have received for an outstanding amount of R450, I cannot even imagine how people who owe more are treated.
The only reason I giving two stars is because the hospital itself is decent in terms of care.

Not admiting my husband when he is in danger of committing suicide. You tell him to come back when his Dr is back from leave. The Dr on call just discarded him, not even making an attempt to talk to him. Very dissapointing that you don't care.

I attended The Glynnview Hospital for a week, for Medication Adjustment.
The environment was spotless with lovely and beautiful surroundings. Dr Siverspasad ,(Psychiatrist)was both exceptional in her treatment and her understanding. Vanessa (Psychologist) was compassionate and totally dedicated. Cindy ,(Occupational Therapist) was lovely and so helpful. The food was excellent. The Sr's on duty were efficient but sadly the Nursing staff lacked tact, interest and it was
evident that a large number of them it was merely a job and not a passion. Thank you to all the
special people who made a difficult time, less scary and intimidating .Forever grateful.

Worst option available for mental health and or addiction. Netcare closed their Psy.Ward in favor of genuine psy. treatment in 21 century. Glynview is 50-years outdated. Doing nothing for 24/7/365

If you value your life avoid getting admitted to this hospital. As a medical doctor I can confirm that this is a medical negligence breeding nest. They dispensed the patient next to me's medication to me including a blood thinner and anti- diabetic medication. I am not diabetic and have medical contra-indications to receive blood thinners. If I was not a medical doctor I would have taken these incorrect medications. Don't expect any help from the hospital manager, Elizabeth Mouton, either. She takes no accountability at all. At all cast avoid one Dr Siverpersad (psychiatrist). She does not examine patients at all and when asked why she will tell you that she is not in a Court of Law and that it is hospital policy at Life Glenview that psychiatrists may not examine patients. An absolute disgrace.

I've been in Glynview for three weeks. It was an absolute pleasure to be booked into the hospital. I would like Thank Dr. Harlies my treating Psychologist, Dr Coetzee and the rest of his medical team of therapists including the nursing personnel(friendly and well disciplined) for ensuring that not only me but all your patient's receceive the best care during our hospital stay. They are passionate caring and surely Liberating the best in people with Mental health disorders with drive tenacity and urgency to ensure we find ourselves again. Your priority is deinatnately to ensure we receive value based health care service from Glynview private hospital
