Update (23 Aug'19) we have recently tried this branch of Romans again and we are sorry to say this branch is a No Go!. Again we received Romans Pizzas that were not up to standard. Again the pizzas were looking (and tasting) like something bought at the Deeghuys (not golden brown still not cooked through) Photos are still valid
I'm one of those CRAZY in love with Roman's Pizza people. and still am, hence my review. Yesterday ( 9 June 2017) I went to this particular Roman's Pizza on Melville street in the Brandwag Centre as it was on my way home ( normally my Roman's Pizza Shop is in Langenhoven Park (Checkers centre) but I decided to use this shop. Bought 2 large chicken/feta/bacon thick base pizzas. Got home and to my utter disappointment saw that the pizzas did not look the same as the Langenhoven Park Roman's Pizza Shop. This Roman's on Melville st ( Brandwag centre) crust was so white u0026 bland it looked like it just came out of the freezer . The taste was not the same. My kids did not want it nor my wife. I had to bake it myself in the oven. I'm sorry to say I will not buy my Roman's Pizza at this shop again but will rather make use of Langenhoven Park's Roman's Pizza Shop...those people never disappointed me. Regards Roman's Pizza Lover
ps: I took some photos and posted it on Roman's Pizzas FB Page
