For about 4 years now my husband and I have ordered sushi take aways via Ubercart on an almost weekly basis from Ben Wei. We rated their sushi in the top 3 sushi restaurants in Cape Town. We have never in these years ever been disappointed. And great value for money too! We usually get the Ultimate Ben Platter which is more than enough for two. But when entertaining we order the Madiba Platter (R400!) And enough for 4!

I'm blown away!!! I was apprehensive at first, trying something new is always a gamble but jeez guys, R400 bucks was worth it. Everything you see in the pics came as twice as much due to the get one free special. Il definitely without a second thought buy from you guys again. This food is incredible, on the same level at Beluga. Crazy!! CRAZY!! Amazing.

So I placed an order through Uber eats and received expired basting sauce from 2020! (Probably the only reason why it was buy 1 get 1 free) Did you guys seriously think it would go unnoticed? Please see for yourself.

Very intimate well decorated restaurant. The staff are very friendly and prices for sushi platters are affordable.

I have been here twice; besides the Calamari starter being very salty and over fried and their soy sauce tasting a bit watered down and looking oily (don't know if its the kind of soy sauce), their food is very tasty. And the location is good for a sit down meal in a square in the CBD area. Also appears to be a good spot for business meetings.

The food was delicious but the service while attentive, was lacking in personal essence. E.g. doggiebags are packed by customers. Dishes not cleared quick enough and certainly no drinks poured - this is left t the customer to do. So it was great food without the better dining experience.

Great restaurant, the food was very good and very well priced. The portion sizes were fair and the good service helps cap off the entire experience.

This is one of my favorite Asian cuisine place in Gardens. Love their food and that their portions are decent. The dishes are reasonably priced and the staff is attentive. One thing I will work on is the music, they play bar or pub music that doesn't great a good ambience or go with the food served.
