Two of my mates and I ordered a Tikka chicken Gatsby for lunch with all the trimmings. What we got was a Gatsby with no sauce, bareley any Tikka chicken and the chips was half fried. And nothing else on it (see pics below).

If. You looking to get a Gatsby don't bother ordering from these guys. What a dissapointment.

The Bollywood Cafe is the place for the budget conscious and the hungry. It offers classic Cape food like the Bunny-chow and Gatsby. There is a wide range to choose from, everything from Indian to Chinese to pizza and burgers. The decor is low budget and it could be cleaner but it's worth the visit for the experience!

Try the Tikka chicken - it's the best. The place is unpretentious and the food is reasonably priced and good. Do not expect fine dinning. Nevertheless, this place is worth a visit. The chai is lovely.

It's an okay place. Apparently a great place to buy a Gatsaby according to my boyfriend. He loves spicy food. I on the other hand struggled through the meal. It was simply too hot and I do not have the highest tolerance for spicy food. But it's otherwise a great place.

Terrible, guy at the till didn't tell us the procedure so we paid and sat waiting for food for about 20mins. One of the waiters saw us and came to ask what we ordered and when we told him he was shocked asking us if the guy at the till hadn't instructed us.
Eventually we were served and the food was cold had to ask the water to warn it in. Microwave. When I buy Indian I expect it to be made to order not served from some batch of food. I didn't enjoy the meal

Worst Indian food in Cape Town. Ordered in from Mr Delivery. There's more rice and water with butter chicken than it being saucy. 6 small portions of chicken and they did not mark the two orders of butter chicken, one which was mild and the other hot. Pathetic for a 'popular' restaurant. Will not order from them again and will tell everyone to avoid this excuse for food. I'm literally drinking my butter chicken meal. Too bad I can't attach photos to this post. Great way to spoil one's day. ????

Worst experience in whole South Africa!! I waited 50min for my Naan with meat. After 30min I asked where my food is and the cashier told me that it took some time but right now they are finishing it. After another 10min I asked again and he said they are wrapping it up and it will be here in a minute. After 50min of total waiting time I told him that I have enough and I want my money back. He then went into the kitchen and came out with a box and told me it's finished now. When I opened it up is was the wrong dish (a horrible lamp wrap). The chips were a disgrace and the meat was awful, and the "seasoning" was horrible. I still have chills when I think about that disgusting mess.

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE EVER!!!! PLEASE!!
