Lovely! I almost didn't find this place as it was hidden away! I was in Cape Town on holiday and specially took some time to visit Byblos. I had the Ethiopian apple tea and Baklava here and must say the staff was brilliant! I love this place, the decor, board games and music. It's idyllic and very "ancient in the modern world". Absolutely recommended this spot!

Was so excited my hubby bought home baklava from this coffee shop. What a massive disapointment. Dry old balklava . filling had no taste. Please if you cannot make these delicatessen dont sell them to customets. an injustice to the real thing

Wow! Lovely and very interesting aesthetic and decor in an unexpected location. A true gem in amongst very interesting sights and places of interest. .reclaimed from historical factories of many decades old. A not to be missed location. Satisfy your curiosity and visit these friendly hosts.

Great coffee, lovely eats and authentic setup. Definitely worth pausing the shopping for a cuppa at this joint and certainly better quality than some of the mainstream stores on the main road nearby

Owner Mikhael Bou Rjeily has created a truly unique spot in Cape Town that allows you to not only enjoy a variety of delicious coffees and beverages, but to also learn and experience a culture you would otherwise have to hop on a plane to come into contact with. His passion for coffee echoes in the walls of the cafe and add that extra bit of magic to an already stellar offering. Highly recommended.

Byblos just does coffee right. And their food. Even something as simple as a chicken toastie is full of traditional Lebanese flavours. Sorry, no pictures, I’ve eaten it already.

a lovely, eclectic pit stop when all that shopping gets too much, darling! The toasted sandwiches, Turkish coffee u0026 baklava is fabulous.
