Elegance itself. Uniquely french yet South African. Most definitely South African flavor in this amazing bistro...
Oh la and such wonderful owners. I can definitely highly recommend this place as one of the best dining experiences in and around the Cape. You will fall in love with this place. Indoors or outside. They've got the setting.

Must admit I saw some mixed reviews, so wasn't sure what to expect.

Firstly the venue, it's classic, vintage, old school. It's just beautiful, spacious, kid and dog friendly as well. I can see myself sitting there for hours reading a book.

We ordered some cocktails to start, really good and well priced. Then for mains we had pizza and the pesto chicken pasta. I don't even like pesto but that pasta was amazing, so was the pizza.

Now for dessert... they seem to specialize in cakes and desserts, everything is baked on site in a small Bakery. My wife had some macarons, some of the best she has ever had. I had the chocolate fondant, which was soft and delicious.

One of the nicest bistros in town. Theme is amazing, it feels like you have walked into a movie set inside the house. Coffees and food are all very good quality. Friendly and helpful staff. Food and drinks do come out slow so expect a little wait time. Outside areas are really nice plus they have a large kids area with slides. Parking on the street in front or around the back on the property.

A 5 star experience. Very clever menu with a range of prices to cater for a range of customers. Creative starters, and good wine list. My guest had the chicken roulab which she is still raving about. Both the chicken and lamb curry were well above average. The decor is superb. See pics. Take your girlfriend there for a romantic lunch and your afternoon will only get better.

A little piece of Paris in the middle of Durbanville in a beautiful old house. Possibly a more Parisienne Cafe than there is in Paris! If not for the non-availability of some menu items due to the previous day "being crazy", this rating would have been 5 stars. However, the food is truly worth the wait. It is GOOD. Best nachos I have ever had. So tasty! Wine choice is small but decent for a cafe. Keep room for their interesting desserts and freshly baked yummies! Sit either inside with its eclectic style of tables and chairs and bar, or outside under the trees. There is a play area for kids at the back and a front garden for smoking. Park either in front in Oxford road or their private parking round back. Friendly and caring service. Nice, clean toilets. I look forward to returning.

Was the most beautiful restaurant if you like old school charm, this is it, I didn't spend enough time so much to look at. I didn't quite enjoy the prawn curry it was sweet, not used to sweet curry, but my friends who ordered calamari and steak loved it. Definitely going back soon

Bistro style coffee shop located in Durbanville. Beautiful setting of vintage furniture, chandeliers, paintings u0026 ornaments. Outside seating available. Menu offers a decent variety. Breakfast, light lunches and freshly baked cakes are on offer daily. Delicious cheese and carrot cake. Wine menu available, they serve mimosas. Great service by friendly staff. Can get busy, so best to make a reservation. Antigue Store onsite selling vintage crockery, kitchen ware, vases etc.
