Awesome food, big portions, excellent service and a beautiful view. This is really a great restaurant and has a nice area for kids to play and a nice area if you don't have kids.

I would advise you to book as they are extremely busy. I did the reservation online and it was very easy to do. I did call to confirm my booking and they had already received and made it.

Lourens our waiter did a great job and his recommendations were excellent.

I would definitely go again.

Damhuis in Melkbosstrand has the perfect location - a stone's throw away from the beach and close to shops and other activities. The views are breathtaking, too making the ambience relaxed and enjoyable.

The food is delicious and fresh with a wide variety to choose from. They really do comfort food well, plus their portion sizes are good value for money.

The service was friendly and responsive from the time we arrived to the time we left.
Well worth the drive from Cape Town.

It's a must visit restaurant if you're in the area, worth the drive if you are not.

Angie is both a lovely hostess and sharp attendant, support her. The heaters in the outdoor seating is very cozy. I can have a ciggy without freezing my buns off.

Although there was a variety of seafood not in stock, my meal did not disappoint at all!

Great food! Great service! Great location! Reasonably priced. They have brilliant vegan and vegetarian option as well which is always a plus. The view is really great. Good for families with kids, as it has a great play area and is dog friendly. hint: reserve a table.

My favourite seafood restaurant. I love the setting, the food is amazing and it is nice that they don't only serve seafood, but great ribs and pork belly as well. The desserts are out of this world! The prices are reasonable.

What a Gem!! Situated on the beach road overlooking the Ocean. Seating outside allows one to enjoy the Seabreeze, the fresh Breeze from the Ocean, the holiday makers and other Diners.
Staff friendly, welcome smiles, efficient and Courteous.
Menu offers wide Variety of Starters, Salads, Main meals, Dessert, soft drinks and wine selection.
Presentation of food tingless the taste buds! The portions are more than enough. Food delicious, prepared professionally by efficient Chefs.
The best Calamari, soft, tasty, best I have tasted. The sauce served with the Mussels, delectable, smooth taste simply delicious. The fish cakes oh my word well spiced, very tasty.
Oxtail soft, falling from bones, tasty well spiced.
Stuffed rolled Pork belly baked to perfection, tasty and well spiced.
Rustic, ambience real holiday feel, yet relaxing, and good vibe!!

Beautifully located by the beach with perfect views to watch the waves assault the rocks.

This old traditional house offers a fantastic menu with a myriad of food choices throughout the day. I had a wonderful breakfast and coffee.

Wonderfully decorated and child friendly. Service was friendly and efficient.

I haven't had a evening meal here, but after a quick look at the menu I'll be booking a table soon for that.
