I've booked the room to get ready for our wedding and to spend our wedding evening at the Lodge - What a lovely visit the staff was so friendly and makes you feel at home right away u003d). The room was big and clean and the view was amazing as you look over the Golf Estate. The evening when we returned from the wedding the room was all cleaned up again and rose pebbles was placed all across the room with a personalized letter from the Lodge Congratulating us on our marriage - The next morning we had breakfast at the lodge that was also excellent - I highly recommend this Lodge as if I had to have my wedding day over again i will still have it at the same Lodge. 5+ Stars !!!

Wonderful experience over two night stay, due to such friendly and hospitable reception staff. The breakfasts were a lovely and varied spread of healthy options and served by the helpful kitchen staff. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cosy. It is close to the sea, and is set in a stunning golf course.

The room was quite basic but comfortable and has everything you need. The service from Wendy u0026 Moireen was outstanding. They are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble and they go the extra mile for guests. Definitely 5star service received from them.

This was a last minute booking so we did not have many options in the area. Felt a bit detached from central Melkbos.

The staff is really friendly, but I would not recommend this place.

The crib, princess bedding on the sofa bed and the packets with crayons that they organised for our kids was a nice touch.

The rooms feel stuffy and outdated. There sink drain in the jacuzzi tub had grime which came off it when you tried to fill it with water. They apologised for this the first night and cleaned the bathtub in the morning (could not use it). But the same thing happened the next day. There were old bottle caps under the bed. It made me feel so uneasy and grossed out about the cleanliness of the place.

The breakfast spread was also not great. Stale muffins and only bacon and eggs available. It just isn't 4 star and needs to put in some work to reach the level of other 4 star accommodation in the Western Cape. They also made quite a big deal about me asking for a "special" cappucino coffee sachet after breakfast. I thought it was strange and they should rather just allow the request and charge the room.

Staff is lovely, but the actual stay wasn't great.

Stayed here for the second time recently and it was fantastic. Amazing location right next to the golf course with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Staff were also very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and looking forward to my next stay.

Oddly neglected compared to its sister golf course and fitness centre. No sign of life in the TV in room. Friendly, spacious and decent breakfast, though, so not bad value overall.
