When I First got to Two Owls Guest House my first thoughts where: "This is Kinda Cute". I Was not only greeted by a very friendly, down to earth host but also his amazing doggie. But, as with all things in life, it is the little things that make it worth while. Unfortunately this is where Two Owls Guest house falls short of a 4 or 5 star review.
Two Owls Guest house markets "Free Wifi", however i couldn't connect my phone to the wifi upstairs in my room the only place i did have connection was downstairs in the communal living room.
You also do have a TV in your room, but it only has 4 Channels: SABC 1, 2, 3 and Mnet. (They Might as well just save the money on the Tv and get better Wifi. )
The One thing i cant live without is Coffee. Luckily there is plenty of complimentary coffee or tea in your room, however you only get 4 VERY small containers of milk. (It takes two of these containers to make a proper cup of coffee.) Me and My partner could only each have one cup of coffee. After which we had to ask for more milk and only got 3 more of these lousy containers. (Just put a 1 L Carton of milk in the bar fridge of every room already, I mean really. )
The General Cleanliness of the room was Good, Not the Best, but good. There were sticky marks above the bed on the wall and dust on top of the Light Switches and the curtains were rather dirty.
Two Owls Guest house is a great little place to spend a night, but will be uncomfortable if you have to spend a lot of time in your room.
It seems like Two Owls Guest house gives you something but also takes a little bit. I got coffee, but I can only make 1 cup. I got a Tv in my room but I cant really watch quality TV. I have Free Wifi, but I cant connect to it.
So Make sure you have lots of Data, Bring your own milk and Maybe your DSTV decoder.
I must admit, these are minor inconveniences, although I think if you pay for comfort you should get comfort and minor inconveniences like these are the ones that make or break a great little Bu0026B or Guest House.
