I've tried a few items from their menus and so far the service has always been good. I've had the supper club sandwich numerous times and sometimes it comes with salad and fries (each picture of the supper club sandwich is a different visit) And other times just salad. The hazelnut latte is pretty good.

Hats off to the staff for their patience with some really difficult customers today. Food always fresh and generous portions. Outside smokers section with pleasant views.

The chicken wings bucket is to die for, drinks are well priced and there is seafood avail as well....just go already what are you waiting for?

Conveniently located around mid-way on the route from the city centre to the southern suburbs, Down South provides excellent service from the ever friendly staff, with an interesting menu.. The iced coffee is to die for.
Sit on the terrace and watch a match on the multiple screens or just look out and admire the breathtaking view.
A must for travelers to the Mother City.

About as nice and simple a bar that also makes some tasty super meals can be. You can have Sunday lunch with your dad or watch the soccer game with your mates.. My go to place Monday to Sunday ✨

When I arrived at the restaurant, I was not greeted at the door - no Covid protocols observed. I waited at least 5 minutes, when we my friend arrived we had to see ourselves to our table. Our drinks were ordered and food was ordered. When we politely requested for the sun visors to be rolled up. She said she would get someone to do it. My drink was done and empty glass was taken, but I was not asked if I would like another drink. The waiter was not present at our table for 15minutes and no one came to roll up the sun visor either. I eventually had to ask one other waiters to get our waitress. And still she did not come. I had to get up from my table to go and fetch her. This was totally and completely unacceptable service that I experienced at Down South.
