DURBAN CURRY FANS....

By far the 2nd best place to get durban lamb bunny chow in cape Town. I've ordered a lamb bunny chow yesterday and yummm was it good!!!
I've tasted bunny chow from many places in cape Town and Mumbai cafe is definitely a winner for the durban style lamb curry in the athlone area. If u wanted very hot curry do let the lady who's In charged know(curry was super hot as requested but mouth watering, lol i still gt the taste in my mouth), i will definitely be ordering again. I definitely wasn't disappointed. Thank u Mumbai cafe, keep it up ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I simply love the garlic naan however it gets abit tough when cold so eat immediately and also the tandoori chicken with the naan my absolute favourite portion size is huge leg and thigh and love the fresh salad, i go back all the time need to try something else on the menu but had that chicken several times .

Terrible service and not great food. We ordered 3 different curries via Mr D. The chef did his own thing substituting the chicken curry for fatty lamb bones????Told to organise our own pick up and delivery if we want it rectified. Mr D not answering phone so stuck with this but ultimately the restaurant had the correct order and could just have followed it!

Ordered chola masala this evening and it was not cooked properly, quite hard to eat. It should be soft and buttery and not feel as if one is eating raw peanuts. Phoned the restaurant now to speak with manager but no response. After many years of buying there, I won't bother to order from Mumbai cafe again.

Have order before and it was good. Went to order on bolt food instead of Uber and turns out you cannot order curries without the bone on bolt food, only on Uber eats. Gave them a call and they just confusingly said that's how it is and you have to order off Uber eats if you want anything that's off the bone. Was really annoying and very unhelpful. The menu should be the same on multiple platforms and not be completely different with different rules. They also answer the phone as my favour8 which is a different restaurant and they're just claiming to be two restaurants with the same kitchen which is really confusing and pointless

How is it possible to have ayatul kursi on the same wall as a picture of an idol?

No wonder their quality dropped. Blessings have been removed from this restaurant.

I wouldn't even consider this place halaal anymore!
