They used to sell fabulous steak rolls but alas no longer. My roll was stale and the steak was tough and full of sinew and barely any prego sauce to make it edible. I have tried 3 since the new Covid normal as I thought maybe it was just a once off and all three have not been up to earlier standards. Very disappointing to say farewell after years of loyal patronage since Chippies first opened.
Please tell the gentleman at the till who takes the orders in the evening to wear a mask and to develop some people skills.

What a delicious hole in the wall. Small shop that makes you think of a classic chips or sandwich shop. Food is of very high quality.
Stem Prego, soft, medium rare even and bursting with flavour. Twice fried crispy chips and the best Prego sauce that I have ever tasted. A must visit

I love this place, have been eating there since 90's (was Chippies Prego). Awesome Prego Roll and great slap chips (those that claim they're to oily don't appreciate true slap chips). You can ask for them crispy if you don't like the slap.

In the last 5 weeks I have eaten the takeaway half chicken and chips more frequently than any other takeaway in my life. It is very good. I would gladly drink the peri-peri sauce.

I used to come to “Chippies” after high school and just had it after so many years and it’s STILL as good as it was. Unfortunately the prices are much higher since the rebrand. But still delicious!

Driver delivered the wrong order. Manager refused to accept responsibility. Said it is between me and the driver. He gave the driver 2 orders for delivery and told him which package is for customer x and which is for y. Doesn't sound like a system to me. Easy to blame the driver. How hard is it to print a name and address stub to attach to your food package?
