We had a fantastic wine pairing meal, that was the culmination of 10 weeks in Cape Town. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. I have eaten at a number of excellent restaurants all over the world and this was among the most enjoyable. It is on the expensive side, but you get a lot for your money. Thanks for the wonderful evening.

A great experience for a reasonable price!

We had 4 meals (2 tapas, 1 main, one dessert) each (there are two options each time so we took each one an option and shared). We also went for the pairing.

The meals were all very delicate. The pairing is also very well thought, and the wine were delicious.

The service is quite fast (actually could have been a bit slower as you don't really have time between each meals / drinks). But overall, great experience and we definitely recommend!

A true work of art of a dining experience. The set menu pulled out all the stops and did not disappoint in the slightest. Servers were friendly and attentive too; we went with the vegetarian set menu, but when our server learned we eat fish, she recommended subbing in a fish dish from the non-veg menu that was absolutely delish. The open kitchen is also a fun touch. Oh! And the oysters for an appetizer -- do not miss out on that deliciousness!

They have a tasting menu as well. We did the reduced menu where you can pick from the selected options of starter, entree, and dessert. They also have cocktails and wine for drinks. We got their Paloma and old fashioned. The food was also pretty good too!

We have been staying around the corner for almost three years now and eventually went last week. Very sorry that we waited this long!
Really good service and a nice imaginative menu, executed very well.
One point, it needs some background music to add to the whole vibe.
Expensive, but considering the area and market I suppose it is in line.

Overall a great time. The Tuna was the highlight and the starting Brioche was perfect.
Some suggestions:
The oysters could have been more vibrant.
The pork belly could have had some crunch to add some textural variety to the dish.

The wine pairing was delicious and the sommelier knew his stuff and was so great to chat to.

Amazing experience! We had the 4 course menu and both the fish as well as the braised beef and aubergine were delicious. Great and cosy vibe, very friendly service. Would recommend and will come back!
