It was a beautiful place. We pay R30 per person for viewing the museum house. They provide a catalog for explaining the items in the house. Very nice. They also have wine tasting packages. They have a few restaurants in the venue as well.

A well maintained piece of South Africa’s rich history. The unique Cape Dutch architectural design, the century old oaks, the stunning views of the bay and vineyards, the cobblestone and grit walk ways, the beautiful displays in the main house as well as in the barns and especially the inner courtyard with its shallow pool combine to make this a personal favorite. Then of course the restaurant absolutely compliments the venue with a great menu.

Very nice location and grounds. I found the tour groups to be too large. It was hard to move around and understand the tour guide. The wine tasting afterwards was also difficult because the groups are too large.

It was an ok ???? tasting and a very disorganized tour of the winery I think overpriced for the service. Later we went on a different ???? tasting location and in retrospect I would skip this one.

It's an old place that has been maintained and has a rich history. Interesting wine processing but even better wine tasting
