I've been to the Garden Court, Nelson Mandela Boulevard Hotel plenty occasions with my children. Every stay was way beyond par excellence.

The staff are ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL.

In particular FAITH, whose at the front line reception desk..... THANK YOU FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING service. 5 stars indeed?
Looking forward to out next stay at our 2nd home ????

The service in this hotel was absolutely amazing 5 stars. They were welcoming and they were well prepared for a last minute booking. The hotel has definitely aged and if a revamp does happen I would definitely love to see them working with the antique aesthetic rather than going for a full modern revamp. I say this because the aged look of the hotel gave it a bit of a classy, slowed down feel and added to a calming ambiance.

The staff booked me a top floor room without me requesting, and the views were amazing. The wifi was a bit tricky as you needed to be a Tsogo sun member to enjoy the full benefits of unlimited wifi.

The food was actually quite fresh however the menu lacked in diversity, especially for vegans and vegetarians. The bar was also only open at certain times but the staff made sure I was assisted regardless of the times the bar was open. They could use an upgrade in terms of their coffee options as well.

COVID compliant and in general a very spacious hotel. The rooms also showed aging and the sheets were slightly itchy, however this appeared to be from a lack of use rather than uncleanliness.

Despite all the glitches listed above this stay was quite good. I hope to see an upgraded embrace of the antique feel the hotel has.

Decent buffet and breakfast. Room service is also good. Grilled fish and chips on room service menu was amazing. Rooms are tidied every day and is clean. Close to airport and water front.

I enjoyed my stay here. The highlight of it all has to be the view. I could see the harbor from my balcony which I really loved. The service was also exceptional. I would recommend.

Mediocre at best. Shower wasn't functional, one of the lights were not working. Hotel buffet was rice, 1 veg, and mutton curry. Hotek Restaurant service is poor, you have to beg the staff to serve you.

Very clean and good service. Restaurant and room cleaning service excellent, shame reception wasn't the same! Decor bit dated but good overall stay

Service from the front desk is excellent. One unpleasant experience is your kitchen staff allowing people to dish without mask on. What I find more disgusting is to allow people to come to a dinner place wearing pijamas. This is unhygienic. I flagged this concern to your kitchen staff and my concern was brushed aside. Despite your good location and exceptional services by selected staff such excellent gets spoiled by reckless kitchen staff. Unless the practice gets changed one will have to think twice before making bookings with you
