We were celebrating a friend's triumph and success. We all lived in Cape Town so did not stay in the hotel as guests .
In total we were about 15+ friends and never had to flag down assistants or look for staff to order . Simply world class hotel service.

Beautiful rooftop setting. A tropical oasis in the city feel to it ...interesting menu easy to read with such creative salad options... too shelf cocktails to wash it all down with... Did I mention the breathtaking skylines...
Highly recommend this venue for hire for a on top of the world experience as it is a great addition to the hospitality hub in CBD district.

Had our wedding at Gorgeous George this weekend! The best experience ever!! The staff was amazing; Lana, the event manager, made all our dreams a reality! I cannot stop recommending this hotel with it’s exceptional decor and fabulous rooms to everyone! Definitely a must, even if it’s just for drinks or an awesome dinner!

There was an issue with our laundry and the laundry of another couple so it took around 30h to get it done and they had to send it to us to another town. Otherwise very nice place. Funky, great breakfast, wonderful staff. I would stay there again but they need to fix their laundry service which at this time doesn’t correspond to the level of the hotel.

It's gorgeous!!

Staff are exceptional, very hip and happening, food sublime!
Love the funcky decor, the rooftop bar and restaurant!
Rooms are clean and comfortable.

It's for a younger crowd, great Insta place! I wouldn't suggest this hotel to my mum or granny!

And I think that's a compliment! ????????

Theft alert!
My husband and I stayed there as part of our honeymoon and unfortunately after we left we noticed a huge sum of our money was missing!! We kept it all in the safe box! We made a mistake of asking them where can we exchange dollars and they told us to change it at a supermarket “habibi” market. It feels like once they knew we had dollars they played a trick on us! When we are out they went into the room and made sure we weren’t there at the moment as one of the hotel workers walked us to a certain street at night for safety reasons although for me it felt totally safe to walk! I think that is when they made sure we are out! Also they left some money so if you don’t count your money in your wallet or wherever you keep it in the safety box, you will not feel like anything happened! I tried calling them but the line is not working and emailed them but with no reply!!! Don’t stay there and don’t trust their safe box! Don’t stay there again and again and again! They ruined our honeymoon!

First class experience for cocktails. Lovely bar and gorgeous restaurant. Also, they're open on a Sunday, which is really out of the norm for Cape Town. Definitely make a reservation to get a seat at one of those beautiful tables.

After a very disappointing first time I waited two years to try again and this time it was really good. Friendly staff and excellent food. The angel fish wasn't enormous and came with nice vegetables.
