Everything is excellent except the windows of the rooms.
Those are made of wood so street noise reduction is not so good. So if you like your sleep till later hours, consider other hotel (i rated 4 stars only because of that).
Breakfasts are from a menu (not an open buffet), so you need to wait a little, but very fresh and tasty. The best mussly I ate in Cape Town!
Staff are friendly and rooms are very large and comfortable.

I had I wonderfull experience it was peaceful. And a vintage modern look loved it. Rooms were easy on the eyes. Workers went above and beyond to help you. The male night time receptionist/barman was absolutely exceptional, easy to chat to and put our comfort first. The breakfast they have is absolutely delicious. Doorman was very welcoming.

The staff at the hotel were very nice. The French toast is the best at breakfast. The rooms are spacious. My only problem is that I wished that the hotel had amenities.

Very good value for money hotel in the CBD. Carefully renovated and modernised historic building. The rooms a spacious and comfortable, the staff very helpful.
The breakfast was tasty and more than enough.
It takes some getting used to that the reception is on the 8th floor and that your car is looked after by a valet service. But it works.

Rooms are nice, location is good.

But windows are horrible and street noise/wind is very loud, definitely bring ear plugs.

Also internet is slow/often down, so it is impossible to work and send emails. Use your phone as a hotspot.

Reception was also not capable to print out a standard invoice.

Great hotel, very modern and stylish at a great location downtown, super friendly and helpful staff. Really good breakfast omelettes and a cool roof terrace. Everything was perfect!

I had a sudden death in my family and I tried to cancel my booking the day before my original date. Unfortunately a funeral is not something one plans for. I tried to call in to explain my situation and from the manager simply refused to even hear the reasoning. Said that I should have sent an email and the response was really inhumane.
