Thank you so much Maria and team for assisting with a last minute booking for a group of 7 ladies a week ago. The service was efficient and warm and everything was prepared in a way that all the guests felt comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was awesome and fresh daily

They were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in early at like 11am.

My room had an exceptional view to the table mountain and lions head.

The service was exceptional, the breakfast had sufficient variety despite being a limited service hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Although the room and bed was tiny, everything in it was comfortable. There was a daily housekeeping and that felt like luxury. Who wouldn’t want that. Hahaaa. Staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful. Even the one who couldn’t speak English nicely refered someone to assist my husband and I. Breakfast was good throughout my stay. And Oooh, I met Desiree, I really hope I got her name right. She is professional, she smiles to all and is helpful. Very very helpful. I’m glad I met her before leaving. She left an impact on me and I have carried that to add to my line of work as a flight attendant. I’m really hoping to meet her again whenever I’m in Cape Town even if I’m not staying at the hotel. Big thumbs up to the staff of this hotel including the security, they also played a role during my stay. ????????????

Check in was a breeze as we were warmly welcomed by reception staff. They were also very accommodating when we asked to change our room. Covid screening on a daily before breakfast. I was particularly impressed at how fast service was. You'd pick up a call to report and issue or make a request and maintenance would be there faster than you can hang up. 5 stars definitely for the team that handles parking, they were always passionate, patient and friendly. Security always welcomed us home with a friendly hello too. Really, all the staff was on point at all times. Rooms were fairly clean too. Location is fairly alright as it's within short distance of most places. The low light was probably just breakfast as the same food was served the the whole 5 mornings we were there. Scrambled eggs or boiled eggs. This doesn't take away though from the great experience we had from arrival to departure. Keep it up!.

Efficient elevators, friendly efficient and accommodating front office staff. Clean room. Easy to operate and roomy safe.

Breakfast experience seriously hampered by strict covid regulations.

Rooms are a bit dark and and electric lights rather dim. Our room had a glimpse of the table mountain between adjacent buildings. So that was nice. Plumbing is what you have learned to expect from a 3-star establishment. But no real problems.

Very central location, seemingly safe nonetheless, with plenty of shops restaurant choices across the road or on close walking distance.

My husband booked a room for our 11th anniversary and his 42nd birthday on 12-13 March 2022. Our 9-year old daughter (anniversary-crasher:-) :-) ) accompanied us. There was a power outage upon check-in. We went out to kill some time but power was still out upon returning. We've decided to rather go home (Diepriver, Cape Town) than sitting in the dark at the hotel on our anniversary. We've anticipated some problems with our request but were totally thrown by the response from the staff at reception and Jocelyn Hess. Instead of coming up with excuses or convincing us to stay they were very apologetic and rebooked us for another time. Everyone from arrival to departure are very friendly, hands-on peoples-people and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing fake or pretentious about them, the moment we've arrived, we've felt welcome and comfortable. First impressions last and what a first impression they've made on us, so 110% for hospitality, friendliness etc. Jocelyn Hess and staff THANK YOU VERY MUCH for organizing the rooms yesterday, in doing so you've made our anniversary and our experience a pleasant, memorable one especially after the 2021anniversary and birthday was non-celebratory due to my husband, Chesly contracting Covid. THANKS ONCE AGAIN for going the extra mile. We appreciate it.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City Centre during my visit from 30/12/21-02/01/2022. Very friendly staff, the rooms were clean, but very small beds. The buffet breakfast was great but delays due to covid rules and policies at the hotel. The gym up at the top floor was great with great views of the Table Mountain. Overall a good stay during peak holiday season.
