What a gem!!! Reservations are highly recommended as this is a small, intimate restaurant...you enter through the open kitchen and are welcomed by the manager... They also have the best wines and you can choose a menu that allows you to pair each course with a wine. We opted for the one canape and 2 courses and then ordered the desserts separately! The meals are exquisite...just perfect...it was such a delight dining here....go for this memorable experience!!!

Such a lovely evening with Friends and a great restaurant. Service was on point and the variety of dishes was made too the highest standards. The Risotto was heavenly and don't get me started on the Lamb melt in your mouth goodness the other dishes were also just as good but these two were our favorites. The desert course dont hesitate too order the Madeline's absolutely out of the this world feels like a warm hug on a winters night. So pop in lunch or dinner or just some wine with some friends it has it all.

Enjoyable experience. Best bite was the rarebit. Local wine pairings were a little off, frequently in conflict with the flavors of the food. Kitchen used a little too much raw acidity in pickles to really be an optimal wine degustation. Would definitely return but maybe choose the smaller menu. Restaurant manger was excellent.

A quaint cosy first floor restaurant with delicious food. They serve a two, three and seven course menu with wine pairing.

The most deliciously oysters. They are prepared on the slightly sweet side and that brings out a different side to the oysters. Very refreshing. Yum. Four isn’t enough.

The pulled lamb dish is flavorful and just the right size because it easily become rich. The yellowtail ceviche with peaches was equally yummy. A winner. The chocolate dessert was a delicious ending. Highly recommended.

Good food, nice size servings. For the price a bit more attention to detail would be nice. Excellent wine list. We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant section.

The location is awesome, ambiance is nice and food is inconsistently great if you do a full tasting (canapes, scallops u0026 yellowtail amazing, chicken very disappointing and dry, risotto bland). But the main reason for lower rating was the service. Not only did they consistently mix up orders, forgot cutlery for us and all tables around us - but our waiter had to ask us 4 times which wine we ordered and still got it wrong. Even used the flash light of his phone to see the spelling of the wine. Same happened to the table next to us. I expect a bit better service for the price you pay.

We had Roasted Cauliflower soup, Venison Tataki, Beef Rump Cap u0026 Pan-Fried Linefish washed down with the Longridge Organic Chenin Blanc 2020. Service good and music good!
