Italforno Pizzeria

I has such high hopes for Italforno. Starting with being greeted with a wood fired pizza oven, followed by Italian cafe music flowing out the door, all that wrapped up by the Italian owner taking my order. This had the makings of a great meal.

Sadly all my hopes were dashed one by one. Firstly as I opened my bacon, feta and Avo pizza, there was very horrible Avo on (pictured). The bases are very dry and tasteless. The tomato sauce has no love, too bland. The toppings were a little sparse but I could let that slide but all the ingredients were just (I say bit again) bland.

Its like the love has left the pizza I ordered. Maybe it was just my order as there are many glowing reviews.

Huge family event. Everyone bought pizzas from different pizza outlets.... I decided to GO BIG and pay the price as in past experience pizzas were always perfect.

To my huge disappointment and embarrassment, our pizzas were way overcooked. Cheese was hard, base was burnt black and no flavor.

Since there were many hungry stomachs, we had no choice but to swallow hard these charcoal pizzas.

The picture shows the comparison.

But NEVER again.

No more use of entertainer app : but it still shows on the app!

Love the baked mac n cheese. Unfortunately last two times Ive ordered it baked it comes without. Please be more consistent

The food was really good (ribs u0026 chips) but there are crawling bugs in the shop. Don't even want to think about the kitchen...

We ordered 4 pizza and the flavors was okey however the pizza was slightly burned and very very very dry. Very disappointed

If you enjoy a good pizza this is the place to visit. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the owner is in store most of the time. I believe the other food on the menu is just as good but I always have pizza. Give them a go, you will not be disappointed. Pre-lockdown it was lovely to go and sit down and enjoy the lovely atmosphere as well as the hustle and bustle found only in a middle-of-town setting.

Consistently great pizza. Different specials throughout the week so always great value on offer. What we love most is the fact that the Italforno takes us back to when pizza was pizza and quality mattered. Highly recommended
